Message	but I couldn't find a spec as to how much play was allowable :I know I have some play in my cv joints also and am trying to decide what to do about it. :Did you replace the boots and clamps? nope If so did you use oem? :I never would have thought that just re-greasing them would help. I agree. Just to be clear: I didn't regrease the CV joint. I greased the splined shaft where it slides into the hub
